Temperature sensor for bearing failure

Description:

ACT’s Bearing Temperature Sensor provides a reliable and continuous temperature monitoring solution designed to detect early signs of bearing failure — minimizing downtime and preventing catastrophic equipment damage.

Installation Instructions:

1 - Remove the grease zerk from the bearing and replace it with the sensor monitor.
2 - Remove the temperature sensor probe from the sensor housing.
3 - Screw the sensor housing into the bearing (use thread sealant if required).
4 - Insert the sensor probe back into the housing until it contacts the bearing.
5 - Use a socket to tighten the compression nut ¾ of a turn.

Features:

- Continuous output signal for real-time temperature monitoring
- Installs through standard grease zerk openings
- Preprogrammed, plug-and-play system — no field adjustments needed
- Digital display with configurable alarm set point
- Alarm output (light or sound) when threshold is exceeded
